After a brief hiatus, the Mark Gorman Band is back and better than ever playing shows around Texas and working on a new album. With a new lineup, new songs, and a whole new attitude, MGB is ready to break into the country music scene once again. So mount up and take the ride that is the Mark Gorman Band!

As a native Texan, Mark is proud of his roots and strives to delve deeper into the rich tradition that is Texas culture through his music and storytelling. While some of his songs like 24/7 and Matiba Biba Shinbone are on the lighter side, others evoke a reminiscent time and place like a sunny Texas beach or sitting on the back porch listening to the familiar sounds of being somewhere in Texas.

He’s a cowboy, through and through, but also equal parts historian, storyteller, singer/songwriter and, of course, guitarslinger. Taking a few years off during his older son’s high school days, Mark broke and trained horses on his ranch in North Texas. Once his boys headed off for college, he popped open his guitar case and stepped straight back into the lime light.
